Boîte à cake personnalisée LIVPACK avec couvercle transparent

How to choose the right cake box size

To choose a cake box, measure the finished cake with its board and decorations. The lid must close without touching the creation, and the packed cake must travel flat. Here is a method to prepare your enquiry with LIVPACK in Morocco.

1. Measure the finished cake with its board

Record maximum length, maximum width and total height. Include the cake board, icing, fruit, decorations and anything that protrudes. Measuring only the mould is insufficient: the finished product and its board may take up more space.

Describe these as the dimensions of the product to be packed. Then ask for confirmation of the box’s usable internal dimensions. Do not assume that advertised packaging dimensions are internal dimensions.

2. Compare the two catalogue sizes

The custom cake box with transparent lid offers these sizes, shown as length × width × height:

Offered sizeChecks before ordering
20 × 9 × 11 cmUsable dimensions, space for the board and clearance above decorations.
25 × 12 × 16 cmUsable dimensions, total weight and fit within the carrier bag.

Illustrative reasoning, not a compatibility test: a cake and board measuring 20 cm long cannot be assumed to fit a box advertised as 20 cm based on that measurement alone. Wall thickness, closure and internal dimensions still need checking. Special dimensions can be considered on request if neither size suits.

3. Choose the presentation and plan transport

This product combines a rigid cardboard base with a transparent plastic lid. The lid shows the cake while your logo and colours personalise the packaging. For other cakes or assortments, compare custom pastry packaging.

Check that the bag base holds the box flat. Specify cake and board weight, the number of boxes carried together and how orders reach customers. A photo of the finished cake and a trial with the selected size help confirm the choice before production.

4. Plan custom printing and quantity

The stated minimum for this cake box is 1,000 units. The advertised production time is 2–3 weeks after artwork approval. Confirm the applicable minimum, size, price and delivery date in your project quote.

Send your logo, colours and the surfaces to print. Check the artwork before production. For unprinted needs, explore unbranded pastry packaging and check availability.
